Korea Dance Abroad

 

코리아댄스어브로드는 본국의 아티스트와 작품을 발굴하여 해외로 소개하고 해외 아티스트와 국내 아티스트의 협업을 기획하며, 아티스트들을 위한 해외 교육의 기회를 제공하는 등 다양한 국제교류적 기회를 가짐으로써 본국의 아티스트들에게는 새로운 경험과 관객 개발의 기회를 제공하고, 해외에는 우리나라의 우수한 문화(춤)컨텐츠를 널리 알린다는 취지로 기획된 단체이다.

 

KDA는 한국 춤의 우수성을 발굴하여 이를 발전시켜 해외로 전파하는 역할을 하고자 하며, 문화적 공공성을 확대하는 것을 목적으로 하는 비영리 단체이다.

대표적인 사업으로는 ‘Korea Dance Awakening 2014’, ‘Dancing Korea 2015', 'Big Mouth: Pan-Asia Dance Festival 2017’, 'Seoul-Down 2018' 그리고 국제 솔로댄스 페스티벌 'Monotanz Seoul 2019,2021' 등이 있다.

Korea Dance Abroad is a non-profit organization founded by Sin Ae Park, that aims to support Korean dance artists while introducing them to international audiences. KDA has been presenting unique and outstanding dances across the world since 2014. KDA's to promote Korean dance are also enhanced through collaboration programs and cultural exchange activities.
